I was informed upon arriving that it would be necessary to visit a client in Bolgheri later in the day.
So while these folks were having this discussion, I took the opportunity to visit and do some sightseeing in the quaint village. The whole of the center of the village could be traversed on foot within ten or fifteen minutes. Indeed, I found myself walking around in circles a few times. But this gave me the chance to use the time to actually walk into the stores, and look and taste many of the local wares (certainly these were wares aimed towards tourists).
There were a couple of souvenir shops, a handful of restaurants, and a few wine stores that were selling wine from the local producers.
